Three local residents were appointed to the new ethics committee in Hebron.

Selectmen recently appointed Donna Ferree, Glenn McGrath and Charles Redfern to the committee.

Redfern is a former pastor who told selectmen he is “familiar with professional ethics” and McGrath said he is “very familiar with the code of conduct.”

McGrath and Redfern will serve as citizen representatives to the committee.
Ferree will serve as the elected official representative.

“I’ve been in municipal government for 35 years,” Ferree said, when asked by the selectmen why she volunteered to serve on this committee. “I thought I had a good background and would be able to contribute to this committee.”

Selectmen made the appointments Oct. 15.
