Concert to help out RHAM musicians

davidlanzA Grammy-nominated musician will perform locally later this month to raise funds for RHAM High School musicians.

David Lanz, a composer and pianist who has released more than 20 recordings, will give a concert at RHAM High School in Hebron to benefit the RHAM Music Boosters.

The concert will be held at the school’s auditorium at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18.
Lanz’s recording “Cristofori’s Dream” topped Billboard’s alternative/new age music charts for 27 weeks and reached platinum status in sales.

Proceeds from the sale of concert tickets will be used to offset the costs of a student trip through the school’s music department to Disney Music Days at Walt Disney World in Florida next February.

Tickets for Lanz’s performance, if ordered in advanced, are $30 per person for premium seating, $25 per person for general seating and $15 for students and senior citizens.

Tickets sold at the door are $35 per person for premium seating; $30 per person for general seating; and $20 for students and senior citizens.

Tickets can be ordered in advance by mail sent to the RHAM Music Boosters, Post Office Box 833, Hebron, 06248.
