Amid the excitement of a Hollywood-style movie premiere, Hebron relived a critical moment in its history Sunday on the 222nd anniversary of the event.
On Sept. 27, 1787, Hebron residents rescued their neighbors, slaves Cesar and Lowis Peters and their eight children, from being abducted out of state by South Carolinian slave traders.
